Do you ever dream something that feels sooo real? I'm not a huge fan of dreaming that I am bike riding and then for whatever reason, I decide to ride my bike down a steep, rugged terrain. NOTE: In real life, I am not that adventuresome. A bike down a steep embankment? Ummmm...No thanks! I'm more of a ride-my-bike-at-a-leisure-pace kind of gal.
I woke-up from my rodent dream before figuring out how to rid myself of those creatures!!!
Okay - here's something random....why is it that every morning there is a brown spider in the file area behind the door to enter said area? And why do the inspectors squish the spider in the walkway so that everytime I go through said door, I feel a little moment of sadness. The dead spider reminds me of Charlotte from Charlotte's Web. I love that book. I haven't read it since I stopped teaching... I always laughed at that crazy goose that has a stutter and the sneaky rat, Templeton. And who doesn't cry when Charlotte dies? And what about the end of the book where Wilbur declares that it's difficult finding someone who is a good friend and a great writer...and he states that Charlotte was both. Goodness! Break a girl's heart!!!! I might have to pull out my copy of this beloved children's fiction and read it...but I had better make sure I have Kleenex handy!
Tootles!
