Happy May Day!!!

According to Wikipedia's website...

May Day on May 1 is an ancient Northern Hemisphere Spring Festival and usually a public holiday.  It is also a traditional spring holiday in many cultures.

May Day was celebrated by some early European settlers of the American continent.  In some parts of the United States, May Baskets are made. These are small baskets usually filled with flowers or treats and left at someone's doorstep. The giver rings the bell and runs away. The person receiving the basket tries to catch the fleeing giver. If they catch the person, a kiss is exchanged.

Instead of receiving a basket of flowers or treats, I received a box o'samples from Target.  Sign-up on their website and they deliver goodies.  I found it delightful that it arrived today -- the first day of May!

Inside my box o'treats was samples of lotion, shampoo, make-up, face cleanser, and a book of coupons.  All these items were tucked neatly in a pink and red striped make-up bag.  I'm really liking that Frugal Girl website.  :)
