As I prepared to speak to our ladies Bible study last night. Hebrews 12:2 spoke to my heart. (Isn't it wonderful that God chooses to speak to us through His Word and prayer!!! That was rhetorical by the way...) Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.
Authors know the beginning. They know how the story is going to start out. They know the middle of the story -- or the plot. They know the characters of the story. They know when certain characters are going to enter the setting and when perhaps those same characters are going to exit stage left. The author knows when the plot is going to thicken or when conflicts are going to arise. They know how the situation is going to be resolved. Authors know the beginning, the middle, and the very end.
Rest in this, my friend....God is the author of your life! He knows your beginning. He knows what's going to happen in the middle of your story (where you are right now!). And He knows the end.
Trust Him. He has everything, EVERYTHING under control. And He is bringing about situations, circumstances and trials for your good.
