I, Angie Good, love the GoodRead's website.  You set up a username and a password and then you can track books you are currently reading, books you want to read, and books that you have read.  The website has a 5-star rating system...room to track what pages you read daily...a notepad for you to jot comments about the book...and tonight I discovered something new about it!!!  There is a tab for...are you sitting down???  There is a tab for QUOTES.  You can search quotes from books or authors.  I did a quick search for Erynn Mangum who just sooo happens to be my new favorite chick lit author.  Her main female characters are chocoholics and caffeine-addicts.  Sound like anyone you may know?  Hmmmmmm... :)  [Wink, wink.]

After selecting several of her quotes, I searched for Jane Austen quotes.  Mylanta -- there were hundreds if not a thousand quotes by Jane.  I love her quotes.  I love that her perils with love and finding a suitable male, even though we are separated by several years, are still the same.  Love is love.  Every girl wants to be loved, adored and cherished.  I love reading Jane Austen...which reminds me that I am not currently reading Jane Austen.

And that is part of the issue that I plan to resolve in this blog post.  I have 7 books on my "Currently Reading" virtual bookshelf and it's kinda un-nerving.  I am not a multiple book reader kinda gal.  I like reading one or two books AT THE MOST!  This whole seven-books-thing is kinda overwhelming.  Three of the books I am not even reading...and one, I'm not sure where it's even located.  (Sigh.)  I think I am going to remove the books from their current shelf and put them back on the "To Read" shelf.  It will make my life much less complicated.

Isn't it great that my greatest struggle tonight is to determine which faux/virtual bookshelf to put my books on???  Talk about a girl who loves the simple things in life.  Well, I suppose the truly SIMPLE things would be real books on my real bookshelf.  I digress.

Sooo do tell...what are you currently reading?  Are you enjoying it?  Comment and let me know...unless we are friends on the GoodRead's website...which reminds me....you can be "Friends" with other bookworms and keep up with what they are reading and what they like.  I enjoy being connected with my bookworm friends.

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
