I'm not sure why but it feels like I haven't sat down and blogged in FOREVER.  Now, that's an exaggeration as I just posted about the Resolution book...but I feel like I have neglected you, my blog-stalkers.

Last week was full of charming and wonderful adventures.  Thursday - thrifting and coffee with a friend.  Friday - work and then supper at Chipolte and Little Women at Starlight.  Saturday - my day with Sara and fam.  And today, Sunday - church...then getting groceries, taking a nap, reading, and church tonight.

I'm not normally a Sunday afternoon napper...but SERIOUSLY three late nights in a row made for one tired me.  Let me put it this way...when 1-1/2 mugs of coffee didn't quite do the trick this morning, I knew a nap was in short order.

And now here it is...Sunday evening.

What I love about Sunday evenings:  I can eat half a cantaloupe for supper after church and not feel guilty.  I'm not a big fan of eating late at night.  ("Late at night" as in after 7 p.m.)

Tomorrow is Monday.  It will be a busy sort-of Monday for me.  It's fine.  I like being busy...just not that insane I'm-so-busy-I-just-want-to-move-my-desk-and-computer-in-to-the-women's-bathroom-and-hide-from-the-menfolk.  No, I mean the busy days when you punch-in at 8, look up and it's 10 a.m., blink & look up again and it's lunchtime.  And then BAM -- 4:30 and time to leave.  Those are the days I love.  You are filled with stuff to occupy your time and keep your brain engaged.

Soooooo I am about the finish the third & final book in the Lauren Holbrook series by Erynn Mangum.  (Excellent author, by the way!)  And I know what's going to happen.  I'm going to have one of those book-hangovers.  You know what I mean, right?  The moping about...trying to get the cast of characters out of your brain.  Lauren, the main character, loved Pride & Prejudice and all things related to coffee and chocolate.  I swear, we could be best friends.  She quotes P & P more than me!!!

Speaking of Mr. Darcy and all things Jane Austen...I have the Pride and Prejudice soundtrack in my cubicle.  Confession:  when I am having a rough day at work, I turn that soundtrack on and get lost in the land of the Bennetts.  (Sigh.)

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
