Up until this past weekend, I was considering getting tested for celiac (gluten allergy)...I've had a change of mind/heart. One of the attendees at ladies retreat said her daughter recently underwent testing for celiac. They make you eat gluten-ous foods and watch your reaction. Here's what I know without being forced to eat "bad" food... If I eat foods containing gluten, I get sick. I don't need to be tested. I know. Soooo now I have to decide if I am willing to knowingly go through with the testing and then set-aside several days to recover from the testing. (Sigh.) Is it worth it in the end to have a piece of paper that says, "Congratulations Angie Good. Gluten does infact make you sick." Hmmmmm...
