Today is Thanksgiving day. As I am sitting here, borrowing my brother's computer to blog while he dozes contentedly on my couch - my heart is filled to the brim with gratitude for God's gracious blessing of giving me a brother. He really is my bestest friend. I know I can call him and tell him whatever is on my mind/heart. I, also, can call him and completely crack-up laughing at nothing at all. He's such a great guy!!!
He arrived this morning around 9 a.m. He made excellent time through Chicago - as we've learned over the years, the bestest time to get through the Windy City is Thanksgiving morning.
The sweet potatoes are baked and I only need to bake our turkey breasts. We are having gluten-free pumpkin muffins for dessert. Mmmmmmm...I love Thanksgiving. And I love that my brother was willing to travel out here to see me. :)
