Back in the day...circa 5 years ago :)

Once upon a time (at my former place of employment...i.e. 5 years ago), my boss's wife (also my best friend) purchased a page-a-day tear-off office dare calendar.  The calendar was hysterical!  Every day, Lauren and I would read a new dare.  Some days we would attempt the dare and other days we would spend the afternoon planning and plotting how we would if we could fulfill the dare.  Some days the dare was a Double Dare...the DD's were awesome!!!

One of the dares was to talk baby talk to a co-worker.

Today I was thinking about that crazy calendar and missing my co-workers from my former place of employment.  The dare that I was contemplating was...talk baby talk to your co-workers.

Since my current favorite co-worker was kind of in a snit -- I decided it was high-time to pull out the "Big Guns" and talk baby-waby talk to the Mr. Grumpy Pants.  (Note:  "Mr. Grumpy Pants" was said inside my pretty little head as if I was addressing a 6 month old.  I used a sing-songy kind of voice.  I can't type it so it looks sing-songy so I felt compelled to share that detail in writing.

To my favorite co-worker, I inquired, "Did you wear your cranky-anky pants to work, Big Guy?"

He replied with a faint smile...and a much better attitude when I came back around asking if he'd like a mug of green tea.  :)

Works like a charm.  Every. Time.
