I'm sooo excited!!!! I have off the week of April 28th and the following week, I have Friday, May 10th off in honor of my birthday! We do not celebrate Martin Luther King's b-day. I mean, for real, who wants a day off in January? We get to take a birthday holiday! Fi-NAH-leeee....a place of employment that acknowledges my magnificent birthday! Who would've thunk?
Now ---> about this vacation. Technically it's a STAYcation. I have a couple of things that I want to do...go to Lake Geneva for a day...journal/craft with Patty & Nancy...and sew --> "a needle pulling thread!!!"
I've been reading more of Soul Custody and how we need to sometimes say "no" to things. It's not easy to do because for some mysterious reason, saying "no" feels/seems selfish...when truth be told, it's not selfish. Selfish is giving and giving and giving and giving even when your tank is empty which leads to burnout.
