Because of the many cancelled sewing class, we were unable to determine what week we really were on. It's either 8 or 9 of 10. If it's only week 8...hip hip hooray!!! An "extra" week of sewing class!!! And if it's really week 9 -- that's ok too. I've learned how to sew skirts, knit tops, & infinity scarves. And let's not forget that I've also learned to never ever, ever, ever, ever sew chiffon. (Insert nervous laughter!)
Tonight I made two infinity scarves...and I, also, learned what I did wrong the first time. You know - the time when the infinity scarf resembled an arm floatie that you would put on a small child. (Sigh.) I sewed up the seam that is supposed to remain open until you flip the seam around and hand stitch it closed. It was an ah-ha moment. And I'm pretty sure my teacher thinks I am crrrrr-azy. Yes, with a capital "CR!"
Two scarves made! One is black and white stripes and the other is the same raspberry color that I used to make the expanda-top. Good memories. :)
