I probably should not be blogging tonight. I just willy-nilly opened an empty post and started typing away. Most days I have a random notion and spend the better part of the day mentally creating a post. On a few occasions, someone will say something and I will think to myself, Yeah ~ that's bloggable!!! Today is neither.
My day at work was peaceful and quiet. With the exception of one task, my day was spent doing what I do best. The one to do item was high-stress and required my complete attention to detail as the last time said task was performed, I missed a typo and received a small reprimand on the importance of detail. {Sigh.} No worries...today I ceased all other activities and I managed to disengage my brain from contemplating a myriad of other pressing thoughts and I was able to find a missing comma and three skipped words! Wonder of wonders!!! I should wear a sparkly A on my shirt tomorrow. Super Angie to the rescue!!! There's no grammar issue to tough for her!!!
Tonight I went from secretary extraordinaire to coffee peep. I sure do love and appreciate my coffee peeps. We've been friends for....well, for almost forever. Tonight we met at Meg's and had coffee (some of us decaf chai) and treats and chit-chatted. We shared burdens and funny tales. I love each of these girls and I do not know what I would do without them.
Tomorrow is Friday. Not only is it Friday....BUT it's haircut day for me! I am not chopping off my lovely curls....however I do intend to ask my stylist to please do something to rejuvenate them!!! It's winter and winter is tough on our hair. I did read on Pinterest that you should take 5,000 IUs of Biotin for maximum hair benefit. Never did I know that such a high dose of this vitamin was beneficial.
I am looking forward to my haircut and then trip to the gym with Lauren. What a fabulous way to end a work week. :) Happy almost-Friday, blog-stalkers!!!
