I am working on four dishcloths. They are to be a "Thank you" gift. At the rate the one of the dishcloths is going, I do not think I will ever get it finished.
The pattern is not all the tricky. It's a ridged dishcloth. It is a pattern I have worked several times.
The first attempt: I was 3/4 of the way done when I noticed I had knitted a portion of this on the wrong side which lead to me happily ripping it out.
The second attempt {It's like riding a horse. You get bucked-off so you must get back on!} ~ My second time knitting and purling......Around row 20, I sat down the dishcloths and realized rows 4 through 8 were knitted on the wrong-side. This second knitted incorrectly situation happened on Friday.....my favorite co-worker's last day. I was already on the verge of tears so the dishcloth conundrum only added frustration to my sadness. {Which by the way ~ I would go from tears to getting it together to having someone say, "Angela, you look so sad" which made me remember WHY I was sad and then fresh tears.... It was a rough day...coupled with the knitting gone bad and someone being a complete jerk...as suspected he was going to be.}
I left the variegated yarn - impaled with knitting needles - in my overhead cabinet. I didn't even want to look at it very the weekend. It hurt my heart.
