AND WE HAVE MERMAID GILLS!!!!!!

This pattern has been such a struggle.

First of all - I have never knitted gills.

Second - when I have gone fishing, my brother always removes the fish so I never have gotten a good look at gills.

Third - I don't have gills so I cannot look on my person.
