My little verse-a-day index card file

I have always liked the idea of jotting down things on index cards...especially quotes and verses.  My fridge has several verse index cards held by my traveling adventure souvenirs (state or state-ish magnets).

The other morning I was at Walgreens getting a nail file.  Can you go in to the Walgreens and leave with just a nail file?  I am not able to do this.

During this particular stop, I ended with a funny greeting card for a friend, a spiral-bound book of index cards, and the nail file.  What's weird is the first nail file I picked-up looked normal but when the cashier turned it over, it had gigungus pieces of circa-1982 bad glitter adhered to one side.  It looked like a kid had took the file and smashed it into bad glitter.  When the glitter was in my line of vision, I said to the cashier, "Oh gross - THAT glitter!!!!  I don't like this at all.  I will be right back."

Since I have been practicing my penmanship, I thought I would use the index cards to jot down quotes and verses and maybe random words of the day.  A quick glance through reading verse after verse will more-than-likely encourage my heart.  It is so filling and the Truth.  A voice of Truth when I am slammed with "Please do this" and "Do that."   Let's throw in a couple phone calls and FedEx package pick-ups and random emails.  Story of my days as of late..

Tomorrow I will toss the book o'verses in my work tote.  I will let you know what happens.
