30 Day Blogging Challenge

I've decided to do a 30 Day Blogging Challenge.
I'm not the kind of gal who makes resolutions.  I prefer contemplate a goal and then dive in....not necessarily on the 1st of the month.  Today is the 28th day of this brand new year.  I spent the afternoon coloring snail mail envelopes...envelopes that I stamped with an actual snail stamp.  It's a cute stamp set and if I don't sound too conceited, I'm pleased with the adorable factor of my snails.  I think the United States Postal Service will appreciate them also.

Soooo today is Day #1.  I'm to blog about something I'm looking forward to this year.  It kind of works out since it's still January...I mean, for a few more days.

I'm looking forward to a couple things...
1st (since it's just around the corner) - I'm looking forward to experiencing duplex-life.  I've lived in my parents' house, a college dorm, a mobile home, a triplex (is that even what you call an older house that's split in to 3 apartments?), an apartment next to some people who liked throwing around profanity, a shared house, a cottage, an apartment in an 8-unit complex and now, in a few weeks, I will be a duplex-dwelling gal.

2nd - taking a trip to the sunny South to see my parents

3rd - my Pacific Northwest travels in June

4th - the remaining months of tutoring club.  I'm so proud of my tutoree and his diligent efforts in memorizing the multiplication facts that he prefers to add.  He's such a good kid...even though he totally has beaten me at foosball.

5th - the day to day ways that God is faithful.  He's so very faithful.

6th - seeing what Batman and Robin have in store and the other glorious changes coming down the pike.

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
