Fabulous fall Saturday...

Every Saturday in the month of September had something fabulous planned so I decided to plan NOTHING for this Saturday -- the 1st Saturday of October...and what a delightful sort-of Saturday it's been.

* Knee socks * Sweata weatha * Stamping
* Grilled cheese & tomato soup * Beautiful leaves

My day got off to a lovely start because I was able to sleep in until 8:30! Yahoo! :) After happily arising from my slumber, I made the mistake of pulling out summery clothing and piling it on my bed. The problem was -- I needed to get ready to go stamping with my friend...but instead I was side-tracked with the sorting project. No worries. I was ready by the time Kari and the children arrived.

We then headed to Kim's house where we made 10 delightful cards (2 of each design). I uploaded them in no particular order...as I love them all!

After stamping, the blue-green chariot dropped me off at the cottage where I enjoyed some lunch before heading to the gym...after which I went to Woodman's for my normal grocery shopping extravaganza! I was kind of nervous about going to the grocery store on Saturday afternoon -- however the store itself wasn't too terribly crowded. Going to the grocery store makes me soo happy! Perhaps I love it soo much because I love to cook and bake. Whatever the reason -- I'm soo happy that I enjoy perusing the aisles!

Thankfully it's kind of chilly outside today...so I ran to Target hoping to find an item that was on sale...alas, Angie Good...why, oh why, do you wait until the last day of the sale to try to find the sale item? I don't know why I do this...but thankfully Target was able to give me a raincheck which is good through the middle or end of November.

After Target, I contemplated running to Edward's West Apple Orchard because I was in the mood for Edward's apple cider...but after putting away the groceries and deciding on something yummy for supper -- I wasn't wanting to go back out for just cider. Perhaps tomorrow after church...

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
