It's terrible to say outloud...

It's truly terrible to say outloud...especially on October 4th...but I have a hankering to pull out White Christmas and watch it. I know why...I've been pondering what kind of Christmas card to make this year. Last year, I did a hodge-podge of packaged Christmas cards which included a photo of Bry and I...and then I had some leftover Christmas cards from the previous Christmas! But alas -- my supply is depleted and now I have to get crackin'! Thankfully I have Monday, October 11th off (thank you, Christopher Columbus for being brave and sailing the ocean blue in 1492)...and on the following day, we have our stamping extravaganza at church! Sooo I am hoping between the two days, I can...

A. get my thoughts wrapped around a fabulous Christmas card idea.
B. get some cards made.
C. maybe...just maybe watch Bing Crosby and Danny Kay. (If I do, I do not think I will be able to blog about this since I am friends with someone who holds to a strict "NO CHRISTMAS BEFORE THANKSGIVING" rule.)

Sooo far my Christmas card ideas are just not coming together in my head. I saw a cute stamp with some modern Christmas trees which I thought was rather delightful. The other day I found a cute idea using a snowflake stamp... I'm just not sure. Maybe once I start playing around with the stamps and ink...maybe something will come together!

I did manage to sort through and put all my Christmas-y paper in one container...and I found a couple Christmas card magazines to thumb-through while on break.

For now I will be thrilled to find an idea and get a couple fall-ish cards made and in the mail.

Happy Stamping/Crafting to you!
