I love my broccoli plain...either raw or steamed. I love broccoli sooo much. I loved broccoli before I knew how healthy it was for me...that is some SERIOUS love right there. It's not like I was on the fence and then heard all these good things about broccoli and then said, "Ok, I like you!" Nooooo! For me -- it's always been love. When I was a kid, I would only eat it raw. Cooked broccoli was the world's worst form of punishment...well, I take that back -- brussel sprouts and cooked cauliflower are the world's worst forms of punishment...and yes, they are still that way to date. Ick!
But steamed - not cooked - broccoli...mmmmmmmm...you are my favorite!!! Infact just the other day (and if you are a faithful blog-stalker, you may recall this)...I was craving steamed broccoli and purchased close to the 2 pounds at Woodmans. Tonight I steamed it up...YUM! Steamed broccoli, baked salmon, and some plain-Jane, unseasoned brown rice. I love cooking!!! It's very therapeutic.
My challenge to you -- EAT SOME BROCCOLI!!!!! EAT YOUR VEGGIES!!!!! YOUR MOTHER WAS RIGHT -- THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!
