I love singing in my car, Rosie. I sing on my way to work, on my way home from work, on my way to church, on my way to get groceries, on my way to the gym...ALL THE TIME!!!!
And yes, I have named my car. You see - my friend Sara started me down this dark road of naming motor vehicles. It has been an interesting journey...let's see...
When I moved to Rockford, I drove a teal Ford Tempo which Sara helped me name "The Pickle" because if I was ever in trouble while driving, I could say "I'm in a pickle in THE PICKLE!"
My next car was a burgundy Saturn, Ruby. She has since gone on to that special junkyard in the sky - technically twice. But now she shall not be brought back to the living.
For a brief period of time, I had a Ford Fusion named Baxter. I actually really like the name Baxter. When I think of the name of Baxter, I picture a little nerdy kid who wears glasses and argyle sweaters that his mother forces him to wear with pressed khaki pants. Baxter might be a nerd growing up, but one day - some nice Christian girl who loves Jesus is going to say outloud, "I like geeks! I like Baxter!"
After Baxter's exit from my life, I adopted Rosie. Rosie the red Corolla who gets fabulous gas mileage and let's be honest - this girl is thankful daily for that fact! I mean, over $4 per gallon! Danger-danger.
Soo there you have you it...Fun Fact #9...and technically, you could turn this into two fun facts. :)
