A. What are they leaping over?
B. Why are they leaping?
C. Can they cease leaping?
D. Why do I picture them in my head wearing tights?
I did not see any men in tights leaping around today...thank goodness! It would've been quite a shocker because I only visited the following locations today...Starbucks for caffeination for the Musical Director and myself, church, Michael's Craft Store, Ambrose Christmas store (which was amazing!!!!), Wal-Mart (no lords a-leaping, but possibly 10 gangstas...), and lastly Severson Dells park.
What does one do at a park at night? Enjoy the luminary walk. The walk was approximately 1/2 a mile. The temperature was quite chilly...the 20's.
The quote of the evening comes from Elaina, the smallest Kunz kid.
Angie: "I'm glad we all bundled-up and have on hats and gloves."
Elaina: "Only a hillbilly wouldn't wear a coat."
After we departed the van, it was brought to our attention that the speaker of said quote of the evening did not have her winter coat on her person nor was the coat in the van. Thankfully her mother had an extra coat and was able to share -- but not before teasing Elaina about being a "hillbilly." It was delightful and Elaina was a good sport.
After our 1/2 mile walk, we warmed up with some hot chocolate and found a seat by the brick fireplace. The brisk walk was my favorite part of the evening as we all shared funny moments... I reminded the elder three Kunz kids about driving them to school on a winter day and we ran out of gas...we had to wait for the one of the technicians to come to our rescue.
"Open your eyes to all the love around you."

I think that tonight was a perfect way to end a very frazzled week. The girl with curly hair is thankful for this memory. She will be printing out the pictures from tonight and cherishing this evening for quite some time.
