I have a co-worker who is notorious for using old rubberbands. You know the kind that are about the crack and break...that are stretched beyond any normal rubberband capacity and if you try removing them from what they are wrapped-around, they will snap. I hate getting snapped by rubberbands. Infact, I will use a long-handled pair of scissors to remove a decrepit rubberband before taking a chance on getting snapped.
