I've not blogged-blogged in awhile...

I've not taken the time to sit down and blog in awhile. Sure, I upload random pictures or witty quotes...but I have not sat down and just rambled about life (or life as I observe it).

Today was one of those days I like to call "An Exercise in Grace."  Grace extended to a snarky someone who acted as if my copying ability was reduce to me standing around looking pretty ~ when truth be told, I had a gazillion phone calls and several ridiculous things to reply to and put up with.  I smiled sweetly and said, "Oh that's delightful" when inside my head, I thought, if you only knew...

And so my day went.

Basically, now that dog-sitting and house-sitting has ended, my life has resumed its normal sameness which I love.  Work and gym most weeknights...except for Wednesdays when there's work and Bible study.  Saturdays are filled with this-n-that....errands, helping others, etc.  Sundays are church and then an afternoon break and then back at it for choir practice and evening church.

This week is much, MUCH calmer than last week.  Last week was rammy-jammy with something (& occasionally it was somethingS) every night.

I am trying a new PH-balanced face scrub.  It's melted coconut oil plus baking soda.  It's a little gritty but it really does clean your pores and my face feels smooth.  I like it.  Currently I'm alternating between my homemade oatmeal soap and this new concoction.

I need to try to squeeze in a trip to IKEA to get curtains for my bedroom.  Bryan helped me hang up curtain rods and it would be a complete shame to not hang some up.

Not much going on in the life of the girl with curly hair...just the same ol' stuff.  Oh - speaking of my curls....the other day it was so humid.  (Insert you asking, "How humid was it, Angie Good?") It was so humid that when I stepped outside I could almost feel my hair "growing poofy-er and poofy-er."  I keep reminding myself about my "I won't complain about the humidity" vow I said why bundled-up in flannel everything this past January.  Such silly not-complaining-about-summer-issues made while in the throes of winter.

It's been awhile.

While I was in The JoAnn Fabrics store this afternoon purchasing pre-punched paper for my 2024 garden journal, I said to myself, "Self,...
