On Monday, I made hard boiled eggs in my oven...in a muffin tin...without any water. Crazy, right?
Preheat oven to 325.
Place 1 egg in each muffin cup. (They PIN said they used a 23-cup muffin tin. Mine was 12. I do not own at 24-cupper.)
Bake for 30 minutes.
Immediately remove from muffin tin and place eggs into a bowl with cold ice water.
Let them set in the water for atleast 10 minutes.
Peel.
It worked! I solemnly promise - it totally worked.
One egg had a smallish explosion - and it wasn't loud or totally explosive. A piece of shell shoot off the egg and landed inside my oven. The egg was perfectly cooked so no eggs were harmed in the oven hard boiling.
Try it!
