Ingredients for a stamping extravaganza:

A crafting friend
Stamps, stamp pads, cardstock
Endless Christmas music
Dove Dark Chocolates
Plenty of laughter
Homemade squash soup

What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday...creating Christmas cards with my funny friend Nancy.  We laughed.  We cried.  We laughed some more.  We haven't had a stamp marathon in years...  It seems that every time we plan one of these events, by the appointed time, we weren't feeling creative.  Tragic, I know!  One would think that stamp-happy gals like us would have limitless creativity.  The sad truth is -- sometimes we just lack motivation.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.  Christmas is 22 days away.  And let me just confess -- I'm running low on cards to have on-hand.  Formerly, I have had a photo box with little dividers that separated birthday from sympathy and thank you's, etc....  However with my card supply dwindling, I've actually bought a couple cards.  ME -- the stamper -- buying cards!!!!  Alert the media!  I'm surprised Fox News isn't banging on the door of the cottage demanding a statement from the girl with curly hair.

No need to worry...today I managed to stamp about 40 cards.  Thirty-eight of which are Christmas.  Two are plain-Jane-could-be-anything cards.

Perhaps now that my creative juices are flowing....now I will be more motivated to get crafting!!!
