Scarves! Scarves! Scarves!
One of my co-workers is having a birthday at the end of this month. A week and a half ago, I was in JoAnn's perusing the fru-fru yarn when I saw a variegated yarn that screamed my co-worker's name. It was grays and browns. My first inclination was to pass that off as such a ________'s kinda scarf...but honestly, the more I knitted it and the more the yarn twirled, the more smitten I fell. (It's pictured below.)
This variegated yarn got me thinking...this scarf would work with black, gray, khakis and browns. It's sooo versatile!!!!
I love color! Infact if you were to come to the cottage and throw open my closet door, you would see a sea of fabulous summery colors...which is why I was surprised when I realized that I was smitten with a neutral colored scarf. Who would've thunk???
And lastly, I made her two "sensible" scarves. Shouldn't every girl have a black scarf AND a gray scarf? I mean...REALLY...think about it.
