I'm multi-tasking like it's nobody's business. (Side note: I soo wanted to write "bidnez" and be all gangsta on my blog!!!)
Chicken breasts baking - timer set :)
Brown rice on the stovetop
I'm blogging while mentally going through my closet and trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow.
This is exhausting.
Oh - I know what else I am doing...admiring my Christmas tree! When my tree is up, my favorite thing to do is make a cup of tea...mmmmmm ~ tea sounds deeeelish, so add that to my list! Where was I? Oh, yes, my favorite thing to do is plug in the lights, sip a mug of hot tea, and listen to Chris Rice's Living Room Session: Christmas cd. I snagged it on the half dot com website for $0.99. Yes, change from my jar. The shipping was $2 which is what it is...but the cd is fabulous. Instrumental traditional Christmas songs. It makes my heart go pitter-patter.
I had another strange moment at work today... Again, my favorite co-worker asked me, "Why are you sooooo happy? Why are you laughing?" I honestly wasn't sure. He was being quite witty but that's his norm. I guess this time of year and my fun Secret Squirrel project are probably factors.
I feel as though I need to blog about a basket of yarn. I know, that statement probably has you sitting on the edge of your chair. Well, you know I painted this past weekend, right? (Check a couple of posts back!) In the hustle-and-bustle of painting and moving stuff and then the re-arranging, I misplace a basket of yarn. It's about 16 inches in length by 6 inches deep and 12 inches wide. It's a good-sized basket. Not large. Not small. Medium. Soooooo I have been looking all over for this basket. All over as in - my closet, my storage cabinet, my new desk, the bookshelves...and this doggone basket was no where to be found. I was to the point of asking myself OUTLOUD, "Surely, you didn't throw it away, right?"
Well...tonight the basket was still missing. I stopped and prayed again to find it. And wouldn't you know - it was in my t.v. stand behind the glass doors in plain sight. All this time - it was RIGHT there. (Sigh.) I did take a minute to rejoice in finding that which was lost. It reminded me of the woman in the Bible who lost the coin from her headdress. Missing coin, missing basket of yarn...to each his own.
I hope you had a marvelous Tuesday!!!
