Quote of the day, November 26th

8:38 a.m. - I entered my favorite co-worker's office.

Said co-worker:  "Good morning."
Me:  "Well, hellooooooooooo!  Happy Monday!  Isn't it lovely outside?"
Co-worker:  "How much coffee have you had?  What's wrong with you?"
Me:  "Nothing's wrong.  Two cups at the cottage - that's all.  I promise."
Co-worker:  "Seriously though -- did you eat packets of sugar this morning?"
Me:  "No."  (smallish pause)  "Did you miss me last Wednesday?"
Co-worker:  "Miss you?  Ummmm...no."
Me:  "Not even a little?"
Co-worker:  "No."

After I left his office, I figured out why I was soo happy to be at work.  I had just had 5 days off - 5 days IN A ROW away will make one happy and cheerful...unless, of course, you are a Grinch.  If you're a Grinch, your smallish heart needs to grow...and well, the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, as per Buddy the Elf.
