I did it! I survived taking out the trash!
On my way to the trash can, I attempted to clear my walkway with the shovel....however after 2 seconds, I decided to just trudge my way down to the trash cans which are next to the big house. Once I got down there, I took a moment to thank the Lord for winter. We wouldn't fully appreciate spring if it wasn't right after winter. I mean, if our weather went from fall to spring to summer, would we truly feel blessed to see tulips emerge from the ground? What about when you get a glimpse of the buds on the trees or the grass turning from near-death to that vibrant shade of green? (sigh) I'm totally a spring-kind-of-gal...however for today and the remainder of winter, I don't want to take this season for granted!
