One feature of reading Northanger Abbey on my Nook that I loved (LOVED!) was the click on the link and learn the meaning of the word. I love Jane's eloquent speech but sometimes, I am soo confused by what she was/is meaning. In the Nook version, you can click and learn. I really do appreciate that feature. I may read Emma on my Nook next.
I finished Northanger Abbey today. Somewhere around page 220 of 277, I was thinking, This is wrapping up nicely...I bet the last little bit of the book will be a book study. Ummm - it wasn't a book study! The last 30 pages or so was the vocabulary information. I got up to page 240-something and it ended. What a sham!!!
I should've known better. I had a notion it was going to end in this fashion yet when it did end, I was sad. I thought I had more time with these lovely characters. (Sigh.)
